Mom,
I am just sending an email to give the news. Yesterday I didn´t have time to send an email because I was traveling. I was transfered from Imperatriz to São Luís in Maranhão. It´s the capital of Maranhão. My new comp is Elder Gouvea

I have been called to serve a 2 year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and will be serving in the Brazil Teresina Mission. Throughout my 2 years of service to our Lord, I will meet many people, hopefully teach a lot of them, have adventures, make lasting memories, and learn another language. I will be serving alongside some of the best and bravest men and women this world has to offer. Like myself, they are taking away time from family, education, jobs and life to serve the Lord and the wonderful people of Brazil.
