Bom dia mãe!
Esta semana foi boa! Foi muito corrido e não conseguimos fazer muito trabalho em nossa área, mas foi uma semana muito boa ainda! Nós tivemos um casamento na sexta-feira! Foi muito muito bom! Teve muita gente lá! Foi um momento muito especial! E também teve bastante comida! Fizeram um churrasco e teve vinagrete e salada e farofa e arroz! Comida muito boa! Infelizmente nós tivemos que sair por causa do horário. O casamento começou as 2000 horas e demorou um pouco. Saímos de lá só depois de ter comido um pouco. Foi muito legal poder ajudar Leonardo e Amanda se casar e tomar esse passo tão importante na sua vida! E depois, no sábado, tivemos o batismo deles! Leonardo e Amanda batizados no dia 13 de Setembro, 2015! Vou mandar algumas fotos depois do casamento e batismo. Além disso, não tenho muito para contar sobre esta semana. Como eu falei, foi um pouco devagar, mas foi boa! Foi muito bom poder terminar essa transferência com um casamento e batismo! Estou muito animado para essa transferência que vai começar agora! Poder recomeçar e fazer melhor essa vez! Não sei se eu vou ficar aqui ou que vai acontecer. Só vou ficar sabendo hoje a noite. Então vou avisar na semana que vem que aconteceu!
A família Hanson está SEMPRE crescendo! Sempre! Mas isso é bom! É uma família muito boa!
Conner está morando onde agora? Não lembro se já falou ou não. Mas parece que esses outros caras precisam buscar uma vida real! Só ficando no apartamento sem fazer nada não vai ajudar eles! Precisam ir lá e fazer alguma coisa da vida! Pelo menos conseguiram ajudar Conner entrar no apartamento e tudo.
É muito bom que o chefe do Conner está disposto a ser mais flexível com ele! Isso vai ajudar muito! Estava ficando frio lá em Rexburg? Ou ainda não? Nesses dias só está ficando mais quente! Enquanto lá está ficando mais fresco, aqui está fiando mais quente! Eu queria pedir um favor! Você pudesse fazer um record da temperatura e sensação térmica pra mim? Só para ver quantos grãos está fazendo! Sei que nesses dias está bem quente! Mas estão queimando muitas coisas por aqui então a fumaça fica na frente do sol. Ajuda um pouco pelo menos.
Meus conversos estão bem. Alguns melhor do que outros, mas estão bem! Estamos visitando eles para ajudar los a permanecer firmes na igreja e a aprender mais. Oro que possam sempre ter o mesmo desejo que tiveram ao se batizar.
Além do Tapatio, queria mais um bolo se possível! Eu não consegui fazer para meu aniversário, então eu guardei. E uma irmã da ala completou ano na semana passada. Então fizemos uma noite familiar na casa dela e fiz o bolo para ela. Só que teve muitos membros lá e tudo mundo pegou bolo. Eu peguei um pedaço mas dei para uma conversa minha para que ela pudesse provar. Então não comi nada do bolo... Só a cobertura que sobrou :)  Então se tiver como mandar mais um bolo, seria ótimo! Além disso, não consigo pensar em mais alguma coisa. Mas vou continuar pensando!
É melhor arrumar seu pé logo! Sei que não gosta muito, mas vai ser tão melhor depois! Vai ser mais fácil para a gente fazer caminhada! Vou orar muito para que tudo dê certo!

Good morning mom!

This week was good! It was very busy and we could not do much work in our area, but it was a very good week still! We had a wedding on Friday! It was very very good! We had a lot of people there! It was a very special moment! It also had a ton food! They had a barbecue and had vinaigrette and salad and manioc flour and rice! Very good food! Unfortunately we had to leave because of how late it was. The wedding started at 8pm and it took a while. We left just after we had eaten a bit. It was very cool to help Leonardo and Amanda to marry and take this important step in their lives! And then on Saturday, we had their baptism! Leonardo and Amanda were baptized on 13 September 2015! I'll send some pictures after the wedding and baptism. Other than that, I don't have much to tell about this week. As I said, it was a little slow, but it was good! It was great to finish this transfer with a wedding and baptism! I am very excited for this transfer is going to happen. I can start over again and do better this time! I do not know if I will stay here or what will happen. I'll know tonight. Then I will tell you next week what happened!
The Hanson family is ALWAYS growing! Always! But that's good! It's a great family!
Conner is living where now? I do not remember if I said this or not. But it seems that these other guys need to get a real life! Just getting the apartment doing nothing will not help them! They need to go out there and make something of life! At least they managed to help Conner get into the apartment and everything.
It's great that the Conner's boss is willing to be more flexible with him! This will help a lot! Was it getting cold there in Rexburg? Or not yet? These days are only getting hotter! While there it is getting cooler, here is getting hotter! I wanted to ask a favor! Could you make a record of the temperature and wind chill for me? Just to see how many degrees it is! I know these days are hot! So there are a lot of things burning around here so the smoke gets in front of the sun. Helps a little at least.
My converts are fine. Some better than others, but they are good! We are visiting them to help them to continue in the church and learn more. I pray that they can always have the same desire that had to be baptized.
In addition to the Tapatio, wanted one more cake if possible! I could not do it for my birthday, so I kept it. And a sister in the ward had a birthday last week. So we made a family night at her house and made the cake for her. Only we had many members there and they all ate cake. I took a piece but I gave it to a convert so she could try it. So I didn't get cake ... Only the frosting was left :) So if you could send a cake would be great! Aside from that, I can not think of anything else. But I keep thinking!
You better fix your foot soon! I know you do not like it much, but it will be so much better afterwards! It will be easier for us to walk! I will pray a lot for it to all work out!

Bom dia família!
Estou bem! Estou sentado aqui no lan house mandando esse email pra vocês! Esta semana foi um pouco melhor! Agora estamos pegando um pouco mais firme no trabalho! E esta semana vai ser ainda melhor!
Saudade de todas aquelas pessoas!!! Brett é o namorado de Brittany? Não lembro dele. Como está indo a casa do Russ? Quase terminando? Não lembro onde fica a loja lá. Mas devo ter visto em algum momento! Espero que continua chovendo lá pra apagar os incêndios! Com três unidades frequentando a mesma capela, deve ser suficiente para construir uma nova capela! Eu vou ler daquele jeito depois que termino essa vez! Acho que vai ser bem mais rápido! Estou feliz sabendo que Papa está melhor! Fiquei muito preocupado! Porque é que talvez vai ter que trocar o joelho dela de novo? Por causa do acidente? Deve ser por isso. Os dois são ÓTIMOS!!! Então qualquer um dá!
Esta semana nós encontramos um novo homem que é muito bom! Ele foi pra igreja e parece que gostou muito! Nós vamos visitar ele hoje! Além dele, não conseguimos encontrar mais novas pessoas esta semana. Isso tem sido um desafio para nós aqui. E assim vai ser um pouco mais o nosso foco agora! Porque é assim que conseguimos ensinar e batizar mais! Esta semana vai ter um Casamento e talvez três batismos! Com certeza vai ter dois. O terceiro depende da mulher. Mas eu acho que vai dar certo! Ela já foi pra igreja cinco ou seis vezes! Só falta nosso ensino e depois, SÓ BATISMO!!
Espero que tudo mundo está bem e que a clima está ficando mais fresco! Porque aqui, está ficando bem mais quente! Bem mais!

Good morning family!
I am fine! I am sitting here at the Internet café sending this email to you! This week was a bit better! Now we're getting a little more solid at work! And this week will be even better!
Miss all those people !!! Brett is the boyfriend of Brittany? I do not remember him. How's it going at Russ' house? Almost finished? I do not remember where the store is there. But I must have seen it at some point! I hope it continues raining there to put out the fires! With three wards attending the same chapel, should be enough to build a new chapel! I'll read that way after I finish this time! I think it will be much faster! I'm happy knowing that Papa is better! I was very worried! Why will you perhaps have to change her knee again? Because of the accident? That must be why. Both are GREAT !!! Either one works!
This week we found a new guy who is very good! He went to church and it seems like he liked it a lot! We will visit him today! Besides him, we could not find other new people this week. This has been a challenge for us here. And so it will be a little more our focus now! Because that's how we can teach and baptize more! This week will have a wedding and maybe three baptisms! We will certainly have two. The third depends on the woman. But I think it will work! She has been to church five or six times! Just missing our teaching and then JUST BAPTISM !!

Família,

Glad to hear that the trip went well and without problems! Did you guys make the trip in one day?? Did you stay the night in Rexburg? Glad to hear that also got to see some old friends! It´s always nice to see people again after some time. Is that the hardware store that is close to the drive-in theater? And why doesn´t he try for something closer there in Rexburg? Rigby is a little ways out of the way. Glad to hear that he´s going after a good job! That will be quite essential! Seems like every year they are having a lot of fires around there! That´s not so good for the residents in those areas. Hopefully the firefighters are able to get them under control soon! We had stake conference as well here in Brasil. I don´t think the chapel is quite that big here, but it´s still a good size! Where is that stake center? I remember that there in Rathdrum was just a normal chapel. Sounds like there were a lot of people there then! With such a large area full of people! Maybe the stake there will be able to divide soon! That would be good! The stake here is close to dividing as well. Before the end of the year, we just need 3 baptisms and 6 less actives reactivated for this ward to be qualified as well. The only hard part is that these 9 people need to be men and tithe payers. So it´s a bit tougher, but we can do it! I am almost in 3 Nephi right now in my reading. I´ve taken way too long to read so little. I am going to do my best to be much better and reading a lot more! The challenge that the stake president there gave to the members is a good one! I´m sure nana and papa appreciate the help! They have a lot to do and are the only ones there to do it! So I´m sure they´ll take whatever help they can get! How is papa doing since he fell a while back? Hope he is all better! This week was nothing too exciting. We had a zone conference on Thursday with the mission president! It was pretty good. He talked a lot about how we can be better at teaching less but more effectively. We practiced some things and it was good. Other than that, nothing special this week. We didn´t have a baptism this week, but we are planning on having one this Saturday! It depends on the schedule of this week. But we´ll do what we can so that it happens! I did get nana´s card! I received it on Thursday at the zone conference. And I got 3 more letters from you. Other than that, not a whole lot to share this week. Just another normal week!
Be sure that Conner makes it to Hudson´s and Dick´s too! Make sure to eat 2 or 3 burgers for me too! Hope that all goes well with the rest of the trip and that you all have a good time together! Stay out of trouble and have fun! Eat for me too! Don´t forget!

Esta semana passada foi uma boa semana! Tivemos pouco trabalho e foi devagar. Mas fizemos que era necessário para ter mais um batismo! Batizamos uma moça chamada Hiolanda (se fala Yolanda). Ela é a prima da moça que batizamos na semana passada. O batismo foi muito bom! Eu tive o privilegio de batizar a moça no Sábado. Foi muito bom! Estou muito grato a Pai Celestial pelo privilegio que tenho de ajudar alguns de Seus filhos a conhecerem o Evangelho e fazerem um convênio com Deus. É realmente algo muito interessante. Pai Celestial poderia fazer esse trabalho sozinho se quiser. Mas Ele nós ama tanto que Ele nós dá a benção de fazer parte dessa obra. Ele dá o oportunidade para nós de receber ainda mais bençãos do que Ele normalmente dá. Por meio dessa obra, podemos sentir uma alegria que é incomparável. Acredito que a única alegria que é maior é a alegria que sentimos em nossas famílias.
Então muitas vezes, Pai Celestial consegue fazer a coisas sozinho, mas Ele deixa que fazemos parte também. E quando nós fazemos a obra missionária, podemos sentir muito mais felicidade e paz. Quando fazemos o que Deus pedi de nós, Ele está OBRIGADO a dar as bençãos prometidas. Vamos pôr a prova as palavras do Senhor e fazer a obra missionária em todo lugar! Se assim fazemos, teremos uma vida melhor!
Espero que tudo mundo está bem e que todos tenham uma boa semana!

This past week was a good week! We had little work and it was slow. But we did what was necessary to have another baptism! We baptize a girl named Hiolanda (pronounced Yolanda). She is the cousin of the girl who we baptized last week. The baptism was very good! I had the privilege of baptizing the girl on Saturday. Was very good! I am very grateful to Heavenly Father for the privilege I have to help some of His children to know the Gospel and make a covenant with God. It's really something very interesting. Heavenly Father could do this work himself if he wanted to. But He loves us so much that He gives us the blessing to be part of that work. It gives the opportunity for us to receive even more blessings than he usually gives us. Through this work, we can experience a joy that is unparalleled. I believe that the only joy that is greater is the joy we feel in our families.
So often, Heavenly Father can do things alone, but He leaves us to do his part too. And when we do missionary work, we can feel more happiness and peace. When we do what God asks of us, he is BOUND to give us the blessings promised. Let us put the words of the Lord to the test and do missionary work everywhere! If we do so, we will have a better life!

Mãe,
Esta semana foi a de transferências e infelizmente Elder M. Silva foi embora. Ele foi para Tianguá no Ceara. E meu novo companheiro vem de Açailândia no Maranhão. O nome dele é Elder Tavares e ele vem de Volta Redonda em Rio de Janeiro. Ele tem sete meses na missão. Estou animado para uma nova transferência aqui na área Poti, mas não via ser a mais fácil. Tenho que me esforçar para que tudo dê certo entre nós. Vamos ver que vai acontecer.
Ainda preciso pedir as fotos de uma irmã do batismo no domingo. Vou pedir esta semana! Os membros nunca dão nada muito estranho para nós. É comida normal ainda. A coisa mais estranho que já comi foi panelada. É um caldo de estomago de boi. Foi uma comida bem forte e não gostei tanto. Talvez só foi por causa do jeito que foi preparado. Mas além disso, toda comida é normal. Todo dia tem arroz e feijão. Se tem mais nada, tem arroz e feijão. Agora tenho três novas sisters no meu distrito. Conheço duas delas já, mas a outra não conheço ainda. Vou conhecer a manhã na reunião de zona! E a caixa e muitas cartas estão me esperando lá também! Então a caixa já chegou! pode ficar tranquilo. O
Tenha uma boa viagem de volta pra casa! E dá um abraço pra pai quando chega lá! Ele vai ficar muito feliz quando chegam em casa.

Mom,
This week was the week of transfers and unfortunately Elder M. Silva left. He went to Tianguá in Ceara. And my new companion comes from Açailândia in Maranhão. I'm excited for a new transfer here in the Poti area, but it will not be any easier. I really have to push myself to make sure it all works out between us. Let's see what will happen.
I still need to ask for pictures from one of the sisters of the baptism on Sunday. I will ask this week! Members never give anything too strange to us to eat. It's still normal food. The weirdest thing I've ever eaten was panelada. It is a soup of bull stomach. It was a very strong food and I did not like it so much. Maybe just because it was the way it was prepared. But beyond that, all food is normal. Every day is rice and beans. If you have nothing else, you at least have rice and beans. I now have three new sisters in my district. I know two of them already, but the other I do not know yet. I will meet her in the morning in the area of meeting! And the package and many letters are waiting for me there too! So the package has arrived! You can relax. Have a safe trip back home! And give a hug to dad when you get there! He'll be very happy when you guys get home.

Estou feliz para saber que a carta finalmente chegou! Demora bastante!! Suas cartas chegam aqui por volta de três semanas mais ou menos. Não tanto tempo! Talvez vou receber a caixa na semana que vem se está no escritório. Vai ter a reunião de zona na próxima semana e os LZ sempre leva cartas e caixas para lá. A menos que passo no escritório ainda esta semana. Ainda não pedi permissão para ir para lá. Mas na semana que vem, vou falar com os LZ. Porque hoje e a manhã é a transferência, então é ainda possível que vou em bora daqui para outra área. Vou descobrir hoje! Se preocupa não! Pode também mandar para Brad Graham ou Mateus de BYU-Idaho e pedir para que traduz para te! Só depende deles. Tivemos três batismos nesta semana! Um no sábado e dois no domingo depois das reuniões na igreja. No sábado foi um homem chamado Orlando Dos Santos Oliveira. E no domingo foi Marcia Victoria Borges Pimentel Pessoa e Maria Isadora Gomes Pimentel. São primas. Foi mutio bom! O elder M. Silva batizou Orlando e eu batizei Victoria e Isadora. Foi mutio legal!!! Tenho que pedir as fotos do segundo batismo pra uma irmã. Não tive minha câmera comigo no domingo. Mas vou mandar fotos do batismo do Orlando e mais algumas fotos. Todo dia temos almoço com um membro. De vez em quando temos jantar com alguém, mas é difícil. Normalmente nós fazemos alguma coisa em casa. Sendo Líder de Distrito é bom! Não é tão difícil com as sisters. Só tem quatro, então nem é tanto trabalho. Presidente Melo é muito bom! Mas não melhor ou pior do que Presidente Siedschlag. São bons em seu próprio jeito. Confio que Conner vai conseguir cumprir sua meta de frequência ao templo! Vai ser bem perto lá em Rexburg! Não vai ter desculpa! Espero que conseguem ver tudo mundo lá em Michigan quando estão melhor de saúde. Não tenho certeza que vou ver Aunt Helen nem Aunt Jean nessa vida novamente. Mas é por isso que nosso Pai Celestial, em seu infinito amor, criou um plano para que podemos ver nossos familiares novamente! E naquele lugar, vão ser bem melhor! Espero que a viagem vai tranquila e que tudo dá certo! Vou orar para que o Senhor protege você e Conner e pai também.

I am happy to know that the letter finally arrived! It takes a long time !! Your letters arrive here in about three weeks or so. Not so long! Maybe I will receive the package the week after next if I am in the office. We will have the zone meeting next week and LZs always takes letters and packages there. Unless I go by the office this week. I have not even asked permission to go there. But next week, I'll talk to the LZ. And on Sunday it was Marcia Victoria Borges Pimentel Pessoa and Isadora Maria Gomes Pimentel. They are cousins. It was very good! Elder M. Silva baptized Orlando and I baptized Victoria and Isadora. It was very cool !!! I have to ask for photos of the second baptism from a sister. I did not have my camera with me on Sunday. But I will send photos of Orlando's baptism and a few more pictures. Every day we have lunch with a member. From time to time we have dinner with someone, but it's hard. Usually we do something at home. As district leader its good! It is not that difficult with the sisters. Only four, so not so much work. President Melo is very good! But no better or worse than President Siedschlag. They are good in their own way. I trust that Conner will be able to meet his temple attendance goal! It will be very close there in Rexburg! There will be no excuse! I hope you get to see everyone there in Michigan when they are in better health. Not sure I'll see Aunt Helen or Aunt Jean in this life again. But that's why our Heavenly Father, in His infinite love, created a plan so that we can see our loved ones again! And in that place, they will be much better! I hope the trip will go well and everything works out! I will pray that the Lord protects you and Conner and father as well.

Batismo do Orlando

FAMÍLIA!!!!
Como estão? Confio que tudo está ótimo com vocês e que tudo mundo está muito feliz!
Está semana foi boa! Começou um pouco devagar, mas isso é normal. Tive entrevista pessoal com Presidente Melo na Terça feira! Foi bem legal mesmo! Ele falou sobre a Doutrina de Cristo e como eu posso viver mais essa doutrina e estudar-la também! Ele me falou sobre a parábola dos talentos e como eu sou como a pessoa que recebeu 5 talentos para cuidar. O Senhor naquela parábola ensinou que recebemos do Senhor aquilo que nós temos capacidade de cuidar. E Presidente Melo me falou que sou capaz de 5 talentos. Isso me ajudou muito! Foi que eu precisava ouvir! Depois daquela entrevista, eu senti bem melhor! Não quer dizer que estava sentindo triste antes, mas senti melhor depois. Depois disso, a semana foi mais ou menos. Estamos nos esforçando muito para ensinar muito, mas é difícil as vezes. Esta semana foi mais de qualidade de que quantidade. Ensinamos uma família bem legal! E marcamos uma data de batismo com eles! E para fechar o dia, eles nós levaram para comer uma pizza! Foi muito bom! Nos outros dias, falamos com poucas pessoas, mas foram pessoas boas. Achamos uma nova família! E a lição com eles foi bom demais! Ajudamos também uma família que está fazendo uma pequena reforma na casa. Quando estávamos lá, chegou areia que ião usar para a reforma. Ajudamos levar a areia para dentro da casa. Foi bem simples e pouco, mas foi engraçado fazer isso de roupa social! Depois, eu fiz uma visita para as Sisters de meu distrito. Foi de um homem e uma mulher que se casaram e batizaram no sábado. Infelizmente, a gente não pudia estar lá, mas foi bom ainda! E ontem, tivemos bastante pessoas no sacramental! Foi muito bom para terminar a semana!
Gostei muito da fotos! Foram bem legais!! Elder M. Silva gostou muito da foto no templo de San Diego! É muito bonito! Bom demais que os Martins foram para ouvir o discurso dele! E também que os Yorks também estavam lá! Donny está entrando na Academy mesmo agora?? Ou é só para fazer alguma coisa? Deve estar animado para entrar logo!
Fiquei muito animado agora que tem Elders novamente no ramo! Manda Conner para trabalhar com eles! Mostrar a área e tudo! Tem que batizar até o pó lá agora!! Não tem desculpa! Ajuda eles também com referências! Vai ajudar eles muito a conhecer a área e as pessoas!
Agora que mandou, eu pensei em algumas coisinhas para pedir.. Mas só na próxima então. Vou aguardar a caixa chegar! E com certeza vou gostar muito! :)
Eu comprei a caixinha de musica na semana passada. Ela pega pendrive! Mas também eu tenho um, então não precisa mandar. Tá tranquilo!
O bicho era bem pequeno! Nada grande. Aquelas são moedas de um real. E têm aqueles desenhos dos Olympics. São uma moeda especial que estão fazendo. Tem mais que preciso achar ainda! Aquele foi um pé de algodão! Nunca tinha visto um pé desse antes, mas é algodão mesmo! Eu não sei que aconteceu com meu pescoço. Mas já melhorou! Tudo está bem! Aquele foi Festa Junina. É uma comemoração de algo que não sei explicar muito bem. Foi na igreja! Foi bem legal!
Esta semana vai ter mais um ou dois batismos! Estou muito animado para batizar mais duas pessoas!!

This week was good! It started a little slow, but that's normal. I had a personal interview with President Melo on Tuesday! It was very cool indeed! He talked about the doctrine of Christ and how I can more fully live this doctrine and study it too! He told me about the parable of the talents and how I am like a person who received 5 talents to care for. The Lord taught in that parable that we receive from the Lord the amount of talents we have capacity to care for. And President Melo told me that I can care for 5 talents. That helped me a lot! It was what I needed to hear! After that interview, I felt much better! Not to say I was feeling sad before, but I felt better later. Thereafter, the week was Ok. We are trying very hard to teach a lot, but it's hard sometimes. This week was more quality than quantity. We taught a very nice family! And we set a baptism date with them! And to finish the day, they took us to eat a pizza! It was very good! On other days, we only spoke to a few people, but they were good people. We found a new family! And the lesson with them was good too! We also helped a family who is making a small remodel on the house. When we were there, the sand that would be used for the remodel arrived. We helped bring the sand into the house. It was very simple and not much, but it was fun to do this in our street clothes! Then I made a visit to the Sisters of my district. It was a man and a woman who were married and baptized on Saturday. Unfortunately, they could not be there, but it was still good! And yesterday we had a bunch of people in the sacrament! It was a great end to the week!
I enjoyed the pictures! They were really cool !! Elder M. Silva liked the photo of the temple of San Diego! It's very beautiful! Its really good that the Martins went to listen to his speech! And that the Yorks were also there! Donny is entering the Academy right now ?? Or is it just to do something? He must be excited to enter soon!
I am very excited to have Elders again in our branch! Send Conner to work with them! Show them the area! You have to baptize like crazy there now!! No excuse!  Also help them with referrals! It will help them a lot to know the area and people!

It's a celebration of something I can not explain very well. It was in the church! It was very nice!
This week will have one or two baptisms! I am very excited to baptize two more people !!
